Pull down selection

Anyone know how to attach either curves or surfaces to a pull-down 'Value-List' or equivalent component? I would like to be able to choose certain curves for a revolve action & also to choose from 3-4 surfaces to do a selected action with.

Thanks Danny, that looks like the answer. Need to spend more time with Grasshopper. Trying to justify taking time off work and spending 150$US to take grasshopper course with Andres.
